Radio Frequency Identification – RFID

Radio-Frequency Identification is the technology of using radio waves to read the information on a tag. Information is stored on a microchip attached to an antenna (named tag or transponder). While presenting the tag to a RFID reader, the RFID reader will read the information stored inside the tag and transfer the data to the RFID system for further processing.
