There are two ways to setup the reader’s network parameters:

1. Using DHCP settings

Set up an DHCP server in the network. Fill in the “option www-server” to point to the web server for serving the reader. Enable the dhcp option on the reader by putting the corresponding jumper cap. Once power up, the reader will setup the network parameters automatically from the DHCP server.

2. Setup manually

You need to setup a temporary local server at 192.168.1.1 with apache and PHP with proper scripts (\avea.php). Reset the web08s to default, then you can modify avea.php to setup the reader accordingly. After that the reader can be powered up and install into production site.
